The Samahan ng mga Litratista sa Rizal (SLR) is one of the oldest and most dynamic Camera Clubs in the Philippines. It was founded June 13, 1993 by Noel Lugod, Vicente Santos and Ramon Castillo.

This 22 year old Camera Club aims to promote excellence in photography as a
medium to showcase the Philippines to the rest of the world, to foster camaraderie among photo enthusiasts and to use photography as a tool for national development.

Since then, SLR has gone a long way. It now has expanded to more than 70 members metro-wide. Under the management of its President, it can now boast of a growing number of members and awards in both local and international photo contests with its average winnings of P1,000,000.00 per year.

What's more, SLR is the only camera club that generously gives prizes to its regular monthly contest.

Last year, it also published Explore Island Philippines Tourist Travel Guidebook, the first in the club history and probably the first in the Philippines using the club members’ pictures.

With all this accomplishments and undertakings, SLR Camera Club is a club every member would definitely be proud of.
